Day 57- Mission to Encourage

As you may have noticed, if you read about many of my encounters not everyone is a non-believer. On day 57, I pulled up to a house with an older man out front working in his yard. I stopped because I could tell that he had been working on this house for quite sometime and it was really starting to look nice. I began by complimenting him on how much better the house looked since he had moved in to the neighborhood. He proceeded to tell me about all of the improvements and what he has planned for the future. I asked him if he attended a church and he informed me about his ministry. Mr. Turner visits widows and nursing home folks to brighten their day and to assist them with any needs. He informed me that he had been doing this ministry for years and he loves it. I encouraged him to keep up the Lord's work, and he encouraged me with his pleasant demeanor and his obedience in taking care of widows in need.
