Today I spent eleven hours in my car returning home from a trip. You would think that being isolated for that long would prevent someone from sharing the good news, but when you need gas and food opportunities will abound. At my first gas station I tried to strike up a conversation with an older lady. I obviously made her uncomfortable so I left her alone the remainder of my visit. I stopped in a store to pick up breakfast and had a wonderful conversation with a Christian. Later, I stopped for gas again and met a father and his son from Arkansas. They attended church and his son was looking for a good Christian college to attend. The ride home was exhausting, but the encounters were refreshing. I simply handed people a gospel tract and the conversation would begin. The next time you feel like you are going to fall asleep at the wheel, begin praying about witnessing to someone at your next stop. That will wake you up!
