I was on my way out the door when two young ladies came walking up my driveway. They were from a church in the neighborhood who wanted to invite me to a church cookout this weekend. I was thrilled to get an invitation to church! It reminded me of the time when three individuals from my current church stopped by to let me know that they were moving into a building in my neighborhood. Dana and I were between churches at the time so we took them up on their invitation. Fast forward to five years later and we are heading to France as official missionaries of this church. I told the young ladies that we would not be able to attend and then asked, "If I did show up, would I hear the gospel?" She said, "No, we are just going to cook-out." I then asked, "Do you share the gospel?" She replied, "I do if I think they need to hear it. Some people are quite satisfied with their life and do not care to hear." I walked the two girls through the Ten Commandments and they both recognized that the law was a schoolmaster to bring them to Christ. It doesn't matter how content someone is with their life. Walk them through God's Law and remember that the Law is perfect converting the soul.
