I began a conversation with a man today who describes himself as a non-practicing Muslim. He did a lot of talking, but he also did a lot of listening. It can be intimidating when you finally meet someone who will listen because you finally have the opportunity to state your case. When the Lord provides a listening ear, stick to the fundamentals. God breathed the sixty six letters of the Bible. In His Word, it states that you have fallen short of His standard. He is so holy and just that He will not allow even one lie to go unpunished. You need forgiveness, but it only comes through His only begotten son Jesus Christ. Repent and trust in Jesus and you will be saved. He paid your fine when He shed His blood on the cross. He was buried and rose again on the third day and He is now at the right hand of the Father interceding for us all. Don't wait. You have no promise of tomorrow. My new Muslim friend sat quietly and listened, but he declined to receive Christ. At least he listened.
