On my way to Kansas City today, I heard a radio personality request that individuals send him an email and tell him what we are thankful for this year. Here is my email and his response:
Sammy,
I was driving to KC when I thought I heard you say to send you an email if we are thankful about something. If so, I am thankful for the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because he lived the perfect life that I cannot live, shed his blood on the cross, and satisfied his just and holy Father, I am filled with gratitude.
