Many of my friends have made a habit of witnessing at the courthouse on Monday mornings. Because we have made a habit out of this every week, we have the privilege of visiting with the same people each week. This is a double edged sword. Some people are not excited to see you the first week and when you return they are even more disgruntled. I think that happened today as I attempted to hand a man a tract. Most do not know what we are handing out, but this guy knew exactly what it was and had prepared a special little message for me. "I don't want any of that mess," he said with a look of disgust on his face. "Take that stuff somewhere else." He then looked away as if I had a lot of nerve for being out saving souls. I respected his request and took my literature somewhere else: to the person standing in line behind him.
